OUR COMMUNITY

we are all in this together

We’ve launched this site to serve as a resource for the Pelotonia community and a way to connect us all during this time of unprecedented uncertainty.

In collaboration with OSUCCC-James & the broader Ohio State University research enterprise, we are creating a research fund, with an initial pledge of
$1 million, to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on the cancer community.

FAQs

We will not be enforcing fundraising commitments for riders in 2020. While the need for innovative cancer research is as urgent today as ever before, we realize that the massive economic uncertainties and the critical needs of our community are currently overwhelming. Our team will continue to offer innovative resources and incentives to our community of fundraisers, and our focus remains to deliver an amazing experience for our community in 2020.

We have not yet made a decision about Ride Weekend in August.  Our community and partners are all operating in a world of constant change right now, and we will continue to monitor and follow the guidance of the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our team is hard at work, creatively thinking through the best way to offer a first-class Pelotonia experience this August. We will continue to transparently share news about Ride Weekend as we know more.

Our team is working to deploy the resources that we currently have in our warehouse to support community organizations in need. One example is that we have provided tents traditionally used during Ride Weekend to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank for the National Guard to use to serve food for individuals in need. If you are aware of any organizations that may benefit from assets our organization may have, please reach out.
