2024 Gravel Day Rider Registration Overview

Registration for Pelotonia 2024 opens on February 29 at 12pm EST. Events include Opening Ceremony on August 2, Ride Weekend on August 3-4, and the second annual Gravel Day on September 28.
Below is an overview for participants interested in registering as a Rider for Gravel Day 2024.
Gravel Day is back for the second year! Hundreds of Riders, Volunteers and Supporters gathered in Nelsonville, Ohio, to experience the inaugural Gravel Day experience, and it was incredible. Watch this 2023 recap video to see highlights – and get ready for 2024!
The 2024 event offers the same three route options. Routes ride through the stunning landscape of Athens County in Southeast Ohio, each sharing the same start and finish location. The gravel riding experience, a different challenge than traditional road riding, offers new and seasoned Pelotonia Riders a more adventurous opportunity to get involved and is the perfect complement to Ride Weekend. Overviews of Gravel Day route options are below.
Saturday, September 28
22-Mile Route
- Nelsonville Loop
- More than 1,400 feet total elevation gain
- $1,500 minimum fundraising commitment
30-Mile Route
- Nelsonville Loop
- More than 2,600 feet total elevation gain
- $1,500 minimum fundraising commitment
52-Mile Route
- Nelsonville Loop
- More than 4,700 feet total elevation gain
- $1,500 minimum fundraising commitment
