Driving Directions

Spectators should make every effort to avoid the Pelotonia routes and travel along alternative roads to keep cyclists as clear of cars as possible.
McFerson Commons: 24-, 50- & 100-mile start | 218 West St. Columbus, OH 43215
Friday, August 1: Opening Ceremony: Due to several events happening in the Arena District on Friday night, all participants and guests should park in the Marconi or Front Street Garage accessible from the east. You can easily access these parking areas by traveling south on 3rd Street or north on 4th Street, turning west on Spring Street, then north on Front Street.
Saturday, August 2: Many garages surrounding McFerson Commons will be accessible to use if your Rider is starting from downtown Columbus. Please be aware that Spring Street and Long Street between Hocking Street and Marconi Blvd. will both be closed during Pelotonia Ride Weekend starts, with no vehicular access while available.

New Albany Schools: Saturday 63-mile start & 24-mile finish | Sunday 30-mile start and 30 & 90-mile finish | 6600 E. Dublin Granville Road, New Albany, Ohio 43054
Important Information: The New Albany Schools finish celebration has moved, so parking locations will be different than years past. All spectators should access the finish venue by traveling north from 161 to access off-site parking, or south from 161 on Fodor Road to access Market Square and accessible parking. Continuous shuttles will be available between the offsite parking and the finish celebration.

We anticipate that most Riders will arrive to New Albany Schools at the following times:
  • 24-mile Riders could finish between 9:00am-1:00pm
  • 30-mile Riders could finish between 10:00am-1:00pm
  • 90-mile Riders could finish between 11:00am-4:00pm

Abercrombie & Fitch Co.: Saturday 50-mile finish | 7906 Central College, New Albany, OH 43054
Important Information: Spectators should avoid Kitzmiller Road and instead take US-62 (Johnstown Road) to Central College Road. This address is to the back entrance where spectator parking is located. Please note that guests will not be permitted to enter Fitch Path from Smith's Mill, as this entrance is closed to vehicular traffic and accessible for cyclists only where Riders will enter.
We anticipate that most 50-mile Riders will arrive to Abercrombie & Fitch Co. between 9:30am-2:00pm.

Kenyon College: Saturday 63 and 100-mile finish | Sunday 90-mile start | 221 Duff St., Gambier, OH 43022
Important Information: All Kenyon spectators MUST approach guest parking near the Lowry Center from 229. Please take caution when approaching guest parking on Kenyon's campus as you may need to cross the route to access the parking areas. Please follow the direction of parking attendants at all times!
We anticipate that most 63-mile Riders will arrive to Kenyon College between 10:30am-4:30pm and 100-mile Riders will arrive between 11:00am-6:00pm.

Spectator Do's and Don'ts

  • Do

    Celebrate Riders at starts and finishes; review routes in advance to avoid driving on or over them; download the Pelotonia Tracker app to follow your Rider's progress; and refer to the Spectator Handbook for more information!

  • Don't

    Don't try to access rest stops. Please do not stop try to meet your Rider along the route, including stopping at rest stops. This can be a safety issue for everyone.

Pelotonia Tracker App

  • Download the "Pelotonia Tracker" App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store!
  • Family and friends can view Rider progress throughout their route, receiving push notifications when participants arrive at and exit rest stops.
  • To follow a Rider, spectators should download the mobile app, search for the Rider’s name, then click on the Rider name in the search results.
  • This will add that Rider to the main screen of a spectator’s app to view Rider progress and opt in to push notifications for that Rider.
