Tom, you will always be the face of Pelotonia. You have built something that has brought together so many people towards a common goal. I am extremely passionate about Pelotonia. Extremely! But the best thing about Pelotonia is that I’m nobody special. Thousands of people share that same passion. Just when you think it means more to you than anyone else, you meet someone else who is going above and beyond. Thank you Tom for all you have done. As sad as it is to see you go, it’s certainly not fair that Columbus is the only one to benefit from your vision. You can do far greater things for the good of humanity. Best wishes!

    Tom,

Thank you for five great years of leadership. The money raised through Pelotonia will continue to support research into the diagnosis, management and, with hope, cure for this terrible disease. The best of luck to you!

Tom – what you started here will benefit OSUCCC and its patients for many, many years down the road. Thank you for this wonderful Columbus celebration that does so much. I am a survivor and volunteer.

All the best to you Tom and thanks for being the driving force behind the Pelotonia movement.
In 2009 I was participating in a clinical trial at OSU and would see the signs every time we visited Columbus. I told my wife that if we were able to get the CLL under control that I’d like to ride in 2010. Thanks to the wonderful treatment I received from Dr. Byrd and his staff I was able to train through the spring and summer of 2010 and then rode 100 miles to Athens. I can still remember very clearly being in tears as I rode into Athens in the rain.
A big thanks to you and all the other behind the scenes folks who make Pelotonia happen!
