Pelotonia on the Patio: June 14, 2012 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Looking for a great way to have some fun–and jumpstart your summer fundraising effort at the same time? Pelotonia on the Patio takes care of both. Now in its fourth year, the popular evening party at the Park Street Patio in Columbus features unlimited beer and sangria for only $15.
Here’s the best part: $10 of every ticket goes back to Pelotonia fundraising. All registered riders, virtual riders and volunteers who attend will receive $10 toward their own fundraising goal, as well as $10 for every guest they bring to the event who is not yet registered for Pelotonia. The party is open to anyone, and donations can be made to a particular Rider or peloton’s general fund.
Here’s how it works: Shortly before the event begins, we gather the reports of all registered riders. As you arrive, we keep track of how many guests you bring. We’ll tally the numbers all evening to determine who brings the most people. Last year’s record, by the way, was 28 guests, which raised an additional $280 for that Rider.
Here’s our favorite thing about the event: The great atmosphere! Much like the opening ceremony, Pelotonia on the Patio is an exciting time with family and friends coming together with one goal in mind. It’s an energy-packed experience and a fantastic way to meet new people, or simply join together with others who share the common bond that drives Pelotonia.
Here’s what else you need to know:
- Get a wristband at the door so the bartender knows you’re with Pelotonia.
- Come hungry and enjoy $2 hamburgers and half-price pizza.
- Bring cash or checks made out to Pelotonia. No credit cards.
- Enjoy entertainment by The Evan Oberla Project.
See you on the Patio!
