Since our founding in 1866, Huntington has been deeply committed to giving back. Every year, we help strengthen communities across the six states we serve by investing millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours, both in sweat equity and through leadership roles.
Pelotonia is a very special event for Huntington. Through our efforts to fight cancer – a terrible disease that has touched the lives of our colleagues, customers, friends and partners – we have learned things about ourselves as individuals, as teams and as a company. The Pelotonia experience has redefined and deepened our commitment to our communities.
We have discovered we can be so much more then the sum of our efforts. By reaching out into our communities, we have strengthened our resolve, redoubled our efforts and committed ourselves to curing a disease that seemed unbeatable just a few short years ago. We are so close. The research at the James is both impressive and exciting.
We are so near the finish line. And we will win.
